Celebrate Christmas with your whole family! Please join us for these child friendly family events at the Copernicus Center in Chicago.
11 am – Curious George, A Very Monkey Christmas (ages 0+)
Let your little one experience the magic of movies for the first time! Toddles? Infants? ALL ARE WELCOME! 😊 Laughing? Crying? Everything is allowed! See trailer below.
1 pm – The Star (ages 4+)
A small but brave donkey and his animal friends become the unsung heroes of the first Christmas. See trailer below.
3 pm – Arthur Christmas (ages 5+)
Ever wonder how Santa does it? Here’s your chance to find out! A hilarious, heart warming story about the Christmas spirit. See trailer below.

In addition to the Family Christmas Movie Marathon, plan on additional free activities happening at the Copernicus Center: Pictures with Santa from 12 pm to 4 pm, Kids workshops, Face painting and more.
Brows through the Polish Christmas Market; with ornaments, jewelry, cards, chocolate & other gift ideas, and of course, → traditional Polish Christmas food → which makes both big and little kids happy! The Christmas Market is open from 11 am to 6 pm in the Lobby, Annex, & Balcony.
5 pm ► Christmas Around the World Concert
Enjoy a live concert of the most enjoyable Christmas music from many different cultures and traditions. The program includes wonderful classical and pop compositions such as Silent Night, Ave Maria, Winter by Vivaldi, The Star of Bethlehem, O Holy Night, Walking in a Winter Wonderland, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and many more performed by the most talented youth string players in the city – Wieniawski Strings, a Youth String Orchestra of the Paderewski Symphony Orchestra of Chicago (age 12 – 20) and their amazing guests.
