A Coach’s Daughter / Córka trenera: In the middle of a hot summer, Maciej Kornet drives with his 17-year-old daughter Wiktoria to tennis tournaments in various Polish cities. She is the apple of his eye, and she thinks the world of her father.
He dreams of a huge tennis career for her. At one of the tournaments they meet Igor, a young, promising tennis player, and Maciej takes him under his wing, unaware of how it will change the dynamics of his relationship with his daughter. Wiktoria starts opening up to new experiences and youthful rebellion: first cigarette, first drink, and first love.
Środek upalnego lata. Maciej Kornet wraz z 17-letnią córką Wiktorią podróżują po Polsce wysłużonym vanem, a ich trasę wyznaczają organizowane w kolejnych miastach turnieje tenisowe. Dziewczyna jest oczkiem w głowie ojca, który marzy o tym, by zrobiła wielką sportową karierę. On z kolei jest dla niej całym światem. Przynajmniej do momentu, kiedy po jednym z turniejów dołącza do nich Igor, młody chłopak i dobrze zapowiadający się zawodnik. Kornet bierze go pod swoje skrzydła, nieświadomy tego, że zupełnie może zmienić to dynamikę relacji pomiędzy nim a córką. Wiktoria zaczyna otwierać się na nowe doznania i młodzieńczy bunt. Pierwszy papieros, pierwszy kieliszek alkoholu, pierwsza miłość.

About the A Coach’s Daughter / Córka trenera Director → ŁUKASZ GRZEGORZEK
Born in 1980 in Nysa. Director, writer, editor, producer. Studied law at the University of Warsaw and trained for a career as a professional tennis player. After moving into film he spent the next ten years learning the ins and outs of film and script editing while creating television trailers for B movies, blockbusters, and art house fare.
