Taxing Love / Podatek od miłości  → You can meet love everywhere, even… in the IRS Office. The harsh tax inspector Klara chases an alleged tax cheat – cynical and charming Marian, who because of his laidback nature and good heart has fallen into tax troubles. When the fate of the “hunted” seems determined, unexpectedly and against all the rules, Klara and Marian fall in love. This triggers a cascade of unpredictable events and changes their lives.

Można spotkać miłośc wszędzie, nawet… w Urzędzie Skarbowym. Surowa inspektor Klara ściga domniemanego oszusta podatkowego – cynicznego, acz pełnego uroku Mariana, który przez niefrasobliwość i dobre serce popadł w kłopoty podatkowe. Kiedy los „ściganego” wydaje się przesądzony, nieoczekiwanie i wbrew wszelkim regułom Klara i Marian zakochują się w sobie. Uruchomia to ciąg komicznych wydarzeń, które odmieniają życie bohaterów.

Taxing Love / Podatek od miłości  Director → BARTŁOMIEJ IGNACIUK 

Born in 1972. Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, Department of Painting and Graphics. Since 2003 he has directed mainly ads – as part of the ChukChuk duo and on his own. Twice awarded the Best Director prize during the Festival of Advertising Creators Club. In 2009 he directed his first television series (episodes 1-7) of the Polish adaptation of the British TV series “Cold Feet” (in Poland titled “Usta Usta”). His music video for the song of vocalist Kora “Hide and Seek”(“Zabawa w chowanego”) was nominated in 2010 for the Grand Prix at the Yach Film Festival. “Taxing Love” is his feature-length debut.
