A major flood occurred in the Vere River valley in Tbilisi, the capital of the Republic of Georgia, on the nights of June 13th & 14th. The results are devastating. SEE IMAGES HERE
The Georgian Cultural Center in Chicago, sponsored by the Copernicus Center (Copernicus Foundation) are hosting this entertaining Tbilisi Flood Relief Benefit Concert to assist with relief efforts.
This Tbilisi Flood Relief Benefit Concert will feature LIVE MUSIC by local artists:
- George Vatchnadze
- Pablo Gordy
- Cellist Ian Maksin
- Nino Arobelidze
- Gorgasali Youth Dance Ensemble
- Nelly Kvirikadze
- Principle dancers, Victoria Jaiani & Temur Saluashvili are courtesy of the Joffrey Ballet
100% of the donations benefit victims of the flood.
