DDT is a popular Russian rock band founded by its lead singer and the only remaining original member, Yuri Shevchuk in 1980. Named after the pesticide DDT, they are one of the better known and most prolific Russian bands of the late 20th and early 21st centuries.
DDT always was and still is one of the most popular rock groups in Russia, and their concerts typically attract tens of thousands of fans. Shevchuk put together the first incarnation of the band in the summer of 1980, and although its members have changed over the years, he continues to voice the concerns and frustrations of the Russian people in his music today just as he did in the band’s infancy. The more than 20 albums in DDT’s discography not only chronicle the history of a rock group, but also provide poignant narratives that examine many aspects of life in the Soviet Union and Russia during the past 35 years.

Акустика — самый честный и чистый формат музыки. Каждый звук становится решающим в общем строе звучания, каждое слово приобретает знчимость, любая интонация несет эмоциональную насыщенность. После программы-манифеста «Иначе» и музыкального вздоха альбома «Прозрачный», родилась программа «Акустика» – душевная, поэтическая и философская, без надрывов, но утверждающая в своей подаче. Программа звучит не менее динамично, чем электричество, но в ней присутствует диалог с публикой. Программа собрана из песен разных лет, от дебютного альбома до свежих сочинений этого года.
Акустические аранжировки раскрывают знакомые песни с новой стороны, хотя практика показала, что многое из того, что было написано 20 лет назад, оказалось актуальным и сейчас. Разнообразие форматов объединены общей темой — Любовью… к жизни, к женщине, к Петербургу, к планете Земля.
Программа длится 2 часа. Зрители погрузятся в атмосферу музыки, поэзии и душевного разговора.
