Collaboration is a urban dance choreography competition that has almost a decade long history of success in both northern and southern California Chicago Collaboration Tickets, Hip-Hop, Chapkis Dance Family, Musick Studios, Chicago Collaboration, Dance, Battle, Choreography, Freestyle, Competition, Copernicus Center, Open Styles, Hip-Hop Music, Collaboration NorCal, Collaboration SoCal, WOD, World of Dance, Hip Hop International, HHI, Urban Dance, Breakdancing, Locking, Popping, House, Krump, Waacking, Greg Chapkis, Jam, Soul Squad, Deejay Panic, Step X Step, Layuh, Jukebox Dance Studio, DeadEnd Family, The Body Poets, 5’FootathrillAZ, Chop Liver, Mookie, Chicago, Chicago Dance competition, 2v2 Open Styles dance battlehosted by the prestigious Chapkis Dance Family of Ervine, California. This one-of-a-kind event has become so prominent they have decided to partner with Musick Studios and bring the competition out to the Midwest for the first time ever! Chicago Collaboration is quickly becoming one of the most unique dance competitions in the Midwest for several reasons.

One of the main reasons behind Chicago Collaboration is to help bridge the gap between dance crews, different styles of dance, and dance communities. Collaboration is a competition in the country that gives dancers an open platform to connect, and learn through sharing the dance floor with one another. Instead of just being another face in the crowd watching someone dance on the stage.

Unlike most competitions in the area, Chicago Collaborations choreography competition is being judges by dancers that are currently successful in the entertainment industry, and have left their mark dancing and choreographing for famous artists and events all over the world. Chicago Collaboration is even taking it one step further with it’s debut in the Midwest and will be hosting a 2v2 Open Styles dance battle along with the choreography competition. Each judge for the battle has been carefully picked because of their outstanding dance career, eagerness to share knowledge with the community, and their respect for Hip-Hop culture.

Doors will be opening at 2 pm with both the battle and the choreography competition starting promptly at 3 pm.  We can’t wait till see you all there!
