The Fall CAMTA Student and Teacher Recital will take place Sunday, October 1, 2017, 2:00 PM at Copernicus Center Annex, 5214 W. Lawrence in Chicago (use separate entrance). Program information from teachers must be received as soon as possible . CAMTA members are encouraged to participate in the student and teacher recitals held in fall and spring. A teacher may submit up to three students. These recitals provide excellent motivation for students and for us to practice and set goals.
The recitals are non-competitive and open to the public. Students should be well prepared for these recitals. Solo pieces must be memorized and polished for performance. Duets are encouraged; scores may be used. Although these are primarily piano recitals, all instruments are welcome. Proper stage presence and attire are expected.

The Chicago Area Music Teachers Association is a direct descendant of Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), which was founded in 1876. CAMTA is also an affiliate of the Illinois State Music Teachers Association (ISMTA).
