Ballet Folklorico de ChicagoBallet Folklorico de Chicago 3rd Anniversary Celebration – Chicago – Copernicus Center

Ballet Folklorico de Chicago 3rd Anniversary Celebration Sunday April 24, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Chicago’s largest ballet folklorico organization featuring a mariachi and banda.

Ballet Folklorico de Chicago, Chicago’s largest ballet folklorico organization is celebrating its 3rd anniversary on Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The celebration will be held at Chicago’s premier event center, Copernicus Center, located at 5216 W. Lawrence Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60630.

We are staying true to our mission and providing the community low cost programming to join our organization and become part of our folklorico familia. We also provide the community with free and low cost performances. We have recently performed for Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE), Chicago Park District’s Night Out in the Parks, Wicker Park Festival, Arts in the Dark Parade, Sundays on State, Maxwell Street Market and many private, school and church events. One of our highlights this year was performing with Los Tigres del Norte, an iconic Mexican corridos band that has won 7 Grammy awards and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of fame. We were privledged to shared the stage with them in Grand Rapids Michigan as well as the Rosemont Theater in Chicago.

Ballet Folklorico de Chicago would like to invite all members of the community to our spectacular event which will feature a mariachi and banda and lots of colorful family-friendly entertainment. Please join us as we celebrate our “Third time is a charm” (“La tercera y vencida”) celebration since we were not able to host an annual celebration our first couple of years due to COVID and would like to fundraise for additional programs and events for our community!

Ballet Folklorico de Chicago organizations’ mission:
