About Home Alone
When bratty 8 year old Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) acts out the night before a family trip to Paris, his mother (Catherine O’Hara) makes him sleep in the attic. After the McCallisters mistakenly leave for the airport without Kevin, he awakens to an empty house and assumes his wish to have no family has come true. But his excitement sours when he realizes that two con men (Joe Pesci & Daniel Stern) plan to rob the McCallister residence. He alone must protect the family home.

About the Northwest Chicago Historical Society
Meet others in your local area interested in the history of Chicago’s northwest side neighborhoods. We will accomplish this through discussion at meetings, public tours and events, and dissemination of historical documents and photos though publications. Additionally, we desire to collaborate with others in the community to continue to maintain and preserve the history of our collective neighborhoods. By linking the past with the present and the future, we will provide awareness and create appreciation for our place in Chicago’s and Illinois’ history. Read more HERE
