ORGANEK, the band – named after its leader, vocalist, songwriter and guitar player Tomasz Organek – was formed in 2013 in Toruń, Poland.
In 2014 Organek earned wide acclaim for his self – produced vintage blues rock album Głupi (Stupid). A raw garage sound along with some literary talent of the leader let Organek quickly achieve a widely commented – upon success. His debut album was Fryderyk* nominated for Best Rock Album 2014 and honoured with several most esteemed Polish music and cultural awards.
In 2016 the group released their second album named Black Madonna which maintained and reinforced a dominant position in the Polish music industry bagging two Fryderyk* statuettes in such major categories as Best Rock Album of the Year and Song of the Year.
Both records went platinum and have been among the most popular albums sold in Poland in recent years.
In 2021 Organek has released two new albums. Ocali nas milość (Only Love Can Save Us) dedicated to the 77th anniversary of the 44’ Warsaw Uprising and the latest one: Na razie stoję, na razie patrzę (Standing & Looking) announcing a new modern sound to come.
Within just a few years due to their charismatic live performances and bestselling music, Organek has built a rapidly growing funbase through extensive touring and music festival appearances both in Poland and abroad. The band has already toured in Great Britain, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Lithuania, Czech Republic and Norway.
ORGANEK’s video have exceeded 100 million views on Youtube.
Tomasz Organek has recently established himself also as a writer. His bestselling debut novel Terror Management Theory was published in early 2019 in Poland.
Voted one of the 100 most influential Poles according to Newsweek Magazine.
In 2022 represented Poland in EXPO 2020 in Dubai.

*The Fryderyk Awards – named after the Polish spelling of Frédéric Chopin’s first name – have been granted by the Polish music industry since 1995.
ØRGANEK – grupa powstała w 2013 roku z inicjatywy jej lidera, autora tesktów i muzyki, Tomasza Organka, laureata wielu prestiżowych nagród, m.in. Mateusza Trójki, Nagrody Artystycznej Miasta Torunia im. Grzegorza Ciechowskiego, Nagrody Marszałka Województwa Kujawsko – Pomorskiego, Nagrody Stowarzyszenia Autorów ZAiKS, czy Superbohaterki Roku Wysokich Obcasów. Tomasz Organek jest również Ambasadorem Honorowym Uniwersytetu Mikołaja Kopernika. W 2019 zadebiutował jako prozaik bestselerową powieścią Teoria Opanowywania Trwogi. W 2022 uznany przez magazyn Newsweek za jedną ze 100 najbardziej wpływowych Polaków w kategorii popkultura. W tym samym roku reprezentował Polskę na EXPO 2020 w Dubaju.
Do chwili obecnej zespół wydał cztery płyty długogrające:
Głupi (2014) – nominacja do Fryderyka 2015 w kategorii Album Roku Rock
Czarna Madonna (2016) – trzy statuetki Fryderyk 2017 w kategorii: Album Roku Rock, Piosenka Roku, Produkcja Muzyczna Roku
Oba albumy uzyskały status platynowej płyty. Przez dwa lata (2016 – 2017) zespół był trzonem Orkiestry Męskiego Grania i jest współautorem dwóch płyt koncertowych MGO, które również pokryły się platyną. Dyrektorem muzycznym obu edycji był Tomasz Organek.
W 2021 zespół wydał dwie kolejne płyty nominowane do Fryderyka 2022:
Ocali Nas Miłość (2021) – z okazji 77. rocznicy Powstania Warszawskiego. Nominacja do Fryderyka 2022 w kategorii Album Roku Piosenka Poetycka i Literacka
Na razie stoję, na razie patrzę (2021) – nominacja do Fryderyka 2022 w kategorii Album Roku Rock/Metal
W skład zespołu wchodzą: Tomasz Organek (gitara, śpiew), Adam Staszewski (bas), Tomasz Lewandowski (instrumenty klawiszowe), Robert Markiewicz (perkusja). Zespół zagrał do chwili obecnej kilkaset koncertów w Polsce i za granicą (Litwa, Francja, Anglia, Szkocja, Irlandia, Szwajcaria, Bułgaria, Holandia, Norwegia, Czechy) ciesząc się ogromnym zainteresowaniem publiczności oraz wielomilionową oglądalnością swoich teledysków.
ØRGANEK jest stałym bywalcem największych polskich festiwali (m.in Woodstock / Pol’and’Rock Festival, Jarocin Festival, Open’er Festival, Orange Festival, Męskie Granie, Europejski Stadion Kultury, CJG Festiwal, Sopot Top of the Top Festival, Kazimiernikejszyn, Green Festival i wielu innych).
W 2022 zespół supportuje KINGS OF LEON podczas koncertu we Wrocławiu.
